New Year's Eve always makes me feel so fancy. Everyone dresses up, excitement is in the air, and it's the one time of the year I buy champagne. It's fun to toast to a new beginning, what we're grateful for, and the resolutions we secretly know will be forgotten by February.

These glasses add a little charm and sparkle to a special night. I bought my glasses at a thrift store, but you can also find them cheap at places like Ross and Marshall's. Embellish with any color paint you want!

1. Wash and dry glass.
2. Dip pen tip (or pencil eraser) into paint (I chose gold).
3. Begin randomly adding dots to the glass in whatever pattern you like.
4. When satisfied, put in oven at 350 degrees (don't preheat*), and bake for 30 minutes.

*It's important that you let the oven heat up and cool at the same time as the glass - no preheating or pulling them out before they've cooled. This keeps the glass from cracking.

Add some OJ for a New Year's Day mimosa.

I also made a fun set of shot glasses.
