Tonight was time for another goodbye - this time to my Rotary Club. I had the chance to play host and we had fun with NZ music (Tiki Tane), NZ decorations (courtesy of the great kiwi tea towels I got for my last birthday), NZ food (my first ever attempt at a pavlova and my speciality, Anzac biscuits) and some NZ culture (my maori speech and grace before dinner).

Tesco suede booties, Glassons boob tube, Whistles black jacket, Greenstone pendant and my favourite black dress. |
Today's outfit post is a little different - I wore this outfit to try and be in theme - NZ's national costume. The best I could do was to steer towards the All Blacks with my greenstone pendant (gifted) and my favourite black jersey halterneck, asymmetric hem dress (bought as a sample from a manufacters sale for $5).
I have no doubt you'll see lots more of this dress as it is my go to LBD, and being a jersey knit it is perfect for so many occasions (especially travelling!). So far I think I've worn it to a Navy cocktail party, funeral, whilst pregnant, for work and for going out.
I publicly want to thank everyone in the Swindon Thamesdown Rotary Club for making this year so special and for making me and my family so welcome. I can't wait to join my new club in Takapuna in a couple of weeks. Rotary really is cool!
