A friend of mine recently asked me to pick up a few things here in the UK to bring home to her. There is an extraordinary variety of mid-low cost clothing here so my challenge is where to start!
My own shopping habits have changed a lot over the last two years. I now have a checklist of questions to ask myself before reaching for the credit card - and these are the things I put to her:
- What do I need?
- What is in style this season (or coming season)?
- Do I have things to go with the item I’m considering?
- Does it suit me (good shape, colour, etc)?
- Will I wear it?
I’m actually waiting for an online order at the moment. I bought the following items – already I’ve planned at least four ways for each to wear them together - watch out for them all in this week's outfit posts!
