What I wore: Matalan nautical full skirt striped dress (thrifted), red and white chiffon scarf (thrifted), Tesco white skinny belt, Overland red slingbacks.
Whew is all I can say.... the final day of Fox in Flats FABruary, a month of style dares, and this morning they hit me with another month long challenge, AND dared to call me chicken if I turn it down!!!
Well this month has been fun but I think next month I will pick and choose the days I get involved. I think I need a bit more freedom as I've realised that OMG this is officially the last day of summer and soon I won't be able to bare my legs or shoulders!
Day 28's outfit (and yes for those also taking part I do know I got day's 27 and 28 mixed up) is retro - and I'm channelling my 50's school girl look - which probably could have been enhanced with lace top bobby socks and mary janes!
This dress is definitely a summer favourite for me; with it's silver nautical buttons, full skirt, pockets and lovely tailoring up top. If you are curious; behind me is Takapuna beach's fossilised forest (created by cooling lava that once flowed between the big old forest trees) - it makes for wonderful rock pools for kids (and us big kids) to play!
