Anyway I love the skirts neon accents and the small floral print - it's definitely going to feature in some print mixing for summer (although I'm not convinced about this weeks attempt) - I think print mixing takes some practice and the right accessories. So here's my Floral Skirt in five takes;
# 1 - off to the beach or vineyard
# 2 - Date night
# 3 - Lunch with friends
# 4 - Working or Church (check out my spanish fresh water pearls)
# 5 - Hanging out with the kids (this one needs a statement necklace to make it work better)
Labelling a skirt like the Dirndl shape 'trendy' doesn't alter the fact that certain shapes suit certain bodies better! I say long live the Dirndl (even if I'll never be able to pronounce it!).
My favourite look was definitely number 1 and I can see this skirt with lots of my white top options this summer.
And here's some of the pictures I used as inspiration:
PS. Watch out for skirt length regardless of style - this one is about 2 inches too long for me and if I pulled it up, or rolled the waistband it looked significantly better. Love to hear which look you liked best?
Linking up today with Transatlantic Blonde for what I wore wednesday (although it's actually Thu here already!).
