This past weekend I visited my best friend in San Francisco for her birthday. I forgot how much more expensive thrifting is there, and it was silly how frustrated I was at having to pay $9 for this Banana Republic dress. If I had seen this in Banana Republic for $9 I would have stolen candy from babies and pushed old ladies over in order to get to the register.

We ate Indian food, drank beers in Dolores park while people watching, and went out for a girls night filled with champagne and 8 million photos. I somehow lasted 4 hours dancing in heels, but those suckers came off as soon as we hailed a cab and the frantic calls for pizza delivery began. At 2pm I am not willing to spend more than $10 on a dress, but at 2am I am willing to spend $1,000 on a slice of cheese pizza.
