The peplum tops and skirts seem to be here to stay, at least for the southern hemisphere spring/summer season. I'm a bit of a late adopter I know, but when I saw this chiffon type top in Matalan the week before I left the UK, I had to have it. The colourful features in the top mean it would go with so many colourful combinations, such as my red coloured jeans - all combinations of course which will have to wait until I have more than a suitcase to work with!
It did look terrible with anything too bulky however so I had to wait for a beautiful day to wear it with this slimmer lined mini skirt. Be careful with the location of your peplums too as they can be amazing or two inches lower and disastrous. Can you believe this is still officially winter - the temp is as good if not warmer than the UK summer! I love NZ xo
