I bought this striped pencil skirt from Primark for five pounds and I love it. The stretchy jersey knit is really comfortable (as you might know, I place very high importance on this), and I find the shape and stripes flattering. I do struggle with the length (trying not to make myself look shorter than I am) but discovered in this week's Take 5 challenge that I can comfortably wear it higher on my waist when I'm not in heels.

I think it's fun that I tried out loads of different trends this week; metallics, denim and biker jackets, pattern mixing, and even colour blocking. I think my favourite is actually the pattern mixing one - this is the first time I've ever worn this Asian top that I thrifted and I love how it works. Maybe I'll force myself to be brave one day and wear the outfit in public!
Love to hear which one is your favourite look? Any other suggestions of how I could style it?
